Melanie's photography experience began in high school through a photojournalist elective which she continued to pursue in college.
Melanie graduated from California State University of Fullerton with her Bachelors degree in Communications through Photography. Her move to Michigan allowed her to study and apprentice under Frank Kolenda where she learned to apply the art of photography in a studio surrounding.
Since Melanie and her family moved to Arizona in 1997 she has pursued her love of photography as a freelance photographer. With three children of her own, Melanie understands the need to stay within a budget and the desire to have beautiful, professional photographs of our ever changing families. Which is why she offers her clients quality photography at affordable prices. The majority of her portrait bookings are referrals from happy clients.
